2020 Winespiration ft. Lapis Luna

2020 may have put us all in a rut, but this sucky year shouldn’t stop us from reaching our goals. We should reflect on this year and really re-think what is important and where we want to be. I have had a wide awakening this year, along with everyone, and I am deciding to use it to my advantage and make it my push to achieve greatness. So along with Lapis Luna wine, I am writing to help inspire you to “reach for the moon.”

So let’s start with Lapis Luna Cabernet Sauvignon. On the back of their wine it reads,” THE PERFECT TIME TO START NEVER ARRIVES.” I mean, how true is this. This goes along with another favorite quote of mine, “If we wait until we are ready, we will be waiting for the rest of our lives.” So like a Cabernet Sauvignon varietal, be bold and start now. Keep in mind of the Lapis Luna Zinfandel on your journey, because you have to “LOOK BEYOND THE DANGERS OF THE FOREST AND BE BRAVE.” Be brave and begin, you’ll get over those hurdles. There is no better time to begin than now. If we never start something, we will never get to where we want to be. I’ve been wanting to start my Share a Sip series for over a year now, but people have been telling me get a better outline, have it more figured out, have better video skills. Well forget that. I finally started because I was so tired of waiting. I know my videos aren’t the best and I know I don’t have it all figured out, but I am learning as I go, and open to growing. I need criticism, I need to fail, because with all that I am only going to achieve where I want to be. So ask yourself this, “What is something you have been putting back because you are too scared to do?” Answer that, and then DO IT!

The process is going to be hard- nothing worth doing comes easy. You are going to have to put some hard work into it. But if this is your goal, all the hard work, stress, and time will be 100% worth it. You must keep moving forward- take baby steps, but just keep moving. You may have set backs, things pushing you behind, but use your power and keep your motivation high to continue to achieve your end goal. As the Lapis Luna Sauvignon Blanc references, “THOSE WHO DO NOT MOVE DO NOT FEEL THEIR CHAINS.” If we stay in the same place and don’t move closer to our goals, how are we going to feel the pain and hard work that we need to put in to achieve where we are going. You are a strong one; You are a badass; move those chains and soon all that hard work will help you break free.

During the process you are definitely going to have ups and downs. You will have times where you want to give up and quit but remember why you started. So when these times come, we want to pour ourselves into a little Lapis Luna Limited Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon motivation (my fav hehe) and “IN THE DARKEST MOMENTS FOCUS ON THE LIGHT.” If it works for you, write down why you started; where you want to get; and why this is all worth it. Look back on it when times gets hard. For my Share a Sip series, sometimes I just get exhausted and wonder if people even care to watch my videos that I put hours and hours of work into. I have to remember that I started this because a big reason why I love wine is the way it connects so many people. I want to connect with people through a glass of wine. I want to show people some fabulous wines, while they talk about their business, story or talent. And if this inspires or connects even just one person, I think it is ALL WORTH IT!

We have to remember we can always get better. We can only strive to be perfect. We always have room for improvement, and to me that is a beautiful thing—it’s motivation itself. Continue to strive to be better. And as the Lapis Luna Pinot Noir puts it, “YOU DID NOT COME THIS FAR TO ONLY COME THIS FAR.” Keep going and crushing it! You are a bad ass. Continue to show the world that. And as your journey continues and you progress just remember the words on the back of the Lapis Luna Chardonnay, “LOOK BACK TO LEARN. LOOK FORWARD TO SUCCEED.”
